"The First-rate Mind" is an original oil painting inspired by Brianna Voron’s evening walks around her old neighborhood during which she likes to reflect on the day. The title is drawn from a A. A. Milne's quote (the author of the Winnie the Pooh Children’s Books): “The third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. A second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. A first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking.” The painting features a solitary tree, symbolizing the mental strength Voron aspires to have.
